Potato Chip Cookies

  • 1 Cup butter
  • 1 Cup white sugar
  • 1 Cup brown sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Tsp vanilla
  • 2 Cups coarsely crushed Better Made potato chips
  • 1 6 oz package chocolate chips
  • 2 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 Tsp baking soda

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Add chips and chocolate chips. Sift flour and baking soda together. Stir into creamed mixture. Drop teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees.

Barb's Potato Chip Cookies

  • 2 - Cups (4 sticks) butter, room temp
  • 3 1/2 - Cups Flour
  • 1 1/2 - Cups Sugar
  • 2 - tsp. vanilla
  • 4 - oz. crushed Better Made Chips
  • Powdered Sugar

Preheat oven to 350. Beat Butter until light and fluffy. Add sugar and vanilla then flour, mix thoroughly. Blend in Better Made chips. After blending everything, you can drop by teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake in 350 oven until lightly golden (about 7-15 min. depending on your oven). Let cool on wire racks real good then dust with the powdered sugar. Let cool completely and store in air tight container.

Cheesy Potatoes

  • 2 lbs THAWED hash browns
  • 16 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 large onion – diced
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup (10 3/4 oz)
  • 3/4 stick melted butter (6 tbsp)
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 – 1 full family size bag Better Made Potato Chips (crushed)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray 9 X 13 pan with nonstick spray. In a large bowl, mix potatoes, cheese and onion. In medium bowl, mix soup, sour cream and melted butter. Add to potato mixture and mix well. Put in pan and bake for 30 minutes. Add crushed Better Made Chips to top and bake 30 minutes more. 8-10 servings

Tuna Casserole

  • 2 Cans of Tuna in water drained (Albacore Tuna is so good in this recipe)
  • 1 can or 1 package of Frozen Peas thawed
  • 3 cups of crushed Better Made Potato Chips (I use the Rainbow Chips if available)
  • 3 Tablespoons of Melted Butter
  • 2 1/2 cups of Milk
  • 3 Tablespoons of Flour
  • Salt, Pepper, and Nutmeg to your taste
  • Cayenne Pepper .. a Dash is optional

9 X 13 Casserole Dish....spray with Pam. Crush the 3 cups of chips and mix with 3 Tablespoons of Melted Butter ... spread 2 cups of the crushed chips in the bottom of the Dish and pat down.   Make a white sauce: Mix the following ingredients together and whisk over a low heat until combined and thickened .. cooking the flour taste out.

  • 2 cups of milk
  • 3 TBSP of Flour
  • 1/8 tsp of Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp of Salt
  • 1/4 tsp of Nutmeg .. freshly grated
  • Just a Dash of Cayenne Pepper (optional)

Cook 1 package of egg noodles according to directions and drain.
Mix the Tuna, egg noodles, and Peas with the white sauce, and pour into the chip lined casserole dish.  Top with crushed Better Made Potato Chips.  Bake in the oven for 40 minutes.  Let set for 5 minutes and serve.  The crunch and taste of the chips on the bottom and the top make this dish really delicious.

Pub Nutty Cheddar Dippers ! A tapas idea!

This is a fun way to serve a pub cheese spread! Small dippers made with 4 inch pretzel rods! A nutty crunch appetizer that is quick and easy to make and eat one –handed. This eliminates the struggle to spread or dip while holding a beverage. Kids love making and eating them too!

  • 1 – 8 ounce block sharp cheddar cheese, chopped into small hunks
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 – 8 ounce package 4 inch Better Made pretzel rods (not sticks)
  • 1 cup walnuts, finely chopped

Place the cheddar cheese in the bowl of a food processor. Coarsely chop. Add the butter,garlic and Dijon mustard. Mix until well blended. Remove from bowl and place in small dish. (yield 1 1 /4 cups). Take 1 1 /2- 2 teaspoons pub cheese and form around the bottom half of each pretzel rod. Roll in walnuts. Place on wax paper. Continue until all are done. They may be covered and chilled until needed. To serve place dippers with a small spot of Dijon on an individual plate. Serves 10-14

Potato Tuna Casserole

  • 1 can of creamy celery soup
  • 1/2 cup of 2% milk
  • 1 can of tuna
  • 1 cup peas, drained
  • 1 cup Better Made potato chips, crushed (suggest Original or Red Hot BBQ)
  • Seasoning add pepper and thyme to taste

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine the cream of celery soup, milk, tuna, peas and seasoning. When mixed thoroughly, pour into a 1-quart casserole dish that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking oil or olive oil. Sprinkle the potato chips evenly over the top of the mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
